hmmmm....my semi-auto Rem 7400 with a "10 round" mag will dance circles around the AR15 on a paper plate at 100 yds but....it's......just.....a hunting rifle. Oopsy...it has an all black synthetic...

I sharpen using oil and wet stones (Edge Pro APEX)only...pretty sure there's not enough friction heat to take the temper out of a knife that way. :) Heat + sharpening = nope.

Man...a bearing that size --you'd have to have a darn good hammer arm or a good trip hammer to bust a bearing down like that....let alone the amount of annealing it would take prior to forging it....
