My mistake, it is an "N" model and does have a made in brazil stamp. I had a brain fart and thought the "NM" marking was for brazil assembled for some reason.

Thanks for the range report. I was looking for a SR1911 for months and finally gave up when I found a nice lightly used SA Loaded.

Hopefully I will stumble across a Ruger soon :)

The TC Venture is a very smooth gun at a great price point. As mentioned, they have a $50 rebate until the end of the year.

Can't go wrong with an American made rifle backed by a life time...

I have the 30-30 which is a heavy enough caliber for me now, but I would like to pick up a nice .308 or 30-06 down the road.
