Thanks for the advice. Although the max charge data is very different the velocity numbers seem to match up. Hornady's 41.3 @ 2400
Speer's 43.0 @ 2521
IMR's 45.6 @ 2728
2400 seems pretty slow...

I'm working up a new .308 load with IMR 4064 since Varget is currently non-existent....

I referenced 3 manuals and got 3 very different max charges for 178 AMAX's. The loads are for a 20" bolt...
