Coyotes are becoming more and more of a problem here. Pets are starting to go missing and I've found the half-eaten remains of two or three fawns here just in the last couple of months.

I was more so before I shot the Glock. I still love my Walther P1 and 1911 just as much.

I've done some dry fire practice in my house recently in low light and no light recently. It has definitely showed me that I desperately need a more modern handgun with better sights for home defense.

I'd definitely keep the Ruger. I'm sure you'd find the other's quality quite lacking in comparison and rust is easy to prevent.

I agree with this. The longer barrel will give the round some more velocity than the snub nose on the LCR. Not to mention that it'd be easier to aim and shoot accurately.
