Taurus Repair

I had to send a taurus revolver for service last year. It took about 6-7 weeks from beginning to end. They did some extra work on the gun, also free, so the wait wasn't too bad. My son had an issue...

+1 on what General lee said!

Easy to maintain, east to shoot well with, decent capacity magazines and no bells or whistles to fool with!

Draw and fire.

What else could you want? Yeah, not pretty but VERY functional!

How much ammo?

Ridiculously large amounts would be appropriate. Also, as noted above, consider owning weapons in the caliber of your potential enemies ( ie, UN/NATO/FEMA ). That way you can always make good use of...

BATFE disaster

DONE! Contributed money AND my time. E-mail and snail mail. My Senators are listless azzholes, bending to the wind ( as they perceive it). I'll try to get everyone I know to email and snail mail the...

Trauma Nurse here....

When all the hype clears, the truth is this: any bullet striking a vital area in the body WILL cause death. How long that death occurs AFTER the shooting is the key.
Episodic data that I personally...

Great rifle, handles well, good price point...

Firing it from the prone position with a 40 round mag is a little difficult! That's why I thought the 20 rounders would work better.

Sorry about the mis-typing...

I knew it was a C93, i just can't type very well! I had found several sources for the 40 round mags, but yours were very welcome and MUCH cheaper than most of the surpus mags I had found! Thank you...

Just bought a Century Arms C3

The Century International Arms C93 is essentially an H&K G33E parts kit with American receiver, barrel and a few other parts thrown in. Actually, it is a great little shooter.

I am looking for...

Mini 14 accuracy

You are correct that standard mini 14's have less than stellar accuracy. If you can hit a steel target with more than 10 rounds out of a 20 round magazine at 100 yards, you have an exceptional mini...

Be wary of DVD or online training....

Having said that, I HIGHLY recommend the Clint Smith Thunder Ranch series to EVERY person who carries a gun or goes in harm's way. If you can afford it, hands on training with Clint Smith is highly...

Cannot disagree with that statement!

.45 ball is certainly MORE than adequate! But being the weird guy that I am, I had to try what they said I shouldn't do!

Regardless, I feel completely safe using the RIA as my carry gun. Much...

I am very pleased with my RIA

Great price, well made 1911 entry weapon. Although I didn't have a lot of faith in the factory mag, it has held it's own with the Chip McCormick's mags I bought to carry with it.

Having fired...

Thank you, sir!

If it goes "bang" and I can own it, I like it. Sure, if someone else is paying the bills I'd go with $6000 rifles and $3000 shotguns.

But even then, I would still like the cheaper guns as well! I...
