The Hogue Monogrip's fit and finish was nicer on my Redhawk but they were too narrow for my hands. I will have to change mine out for something fatter with more palm swell.

S&W 642...fits just about anywhere, holster or not. Used to carry a lightweight Para Ord. P12.45 but even that got too big. Here in FL it's all about concealment in hot weather.

I've used 150gr. core-lokts exclusively. I really don't think a premium bullet is necessary on deer sized game with that cartridge, unless it just shoots really well out of your firearm.
