Plating is a very complex and expensive plating process and would not be cost affective for someone to do on there own.

We offer our CPII (Nickel Boron Nitride Plating) if we can help

I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have. If the gun is going to be in any type of wet surrounding I agree you must have it Mil Spec Parkerized prior to refinishing....
