Ruger has made some 32-20s in the Blackhawk and vaquero models, bigger and heavier than the uberti but good shooters, with good handloads it will do whatever targt loads in a 38 special will do.

Shot a 7mm-08 in a ruger compact, nice! Bought my wife a compact in 260 rem. The 7mm-08 will do anything that needs to be done at reasonable ranges with less noise recoil and cost.
