Excuse me, but......[yea gawds, another "expert"]....The Danish Krag was caliber 8x58 Danish Rimmed. The Norwegian Krags were 6.5x55.
Maybe a few other calibers were made, but these and the U.S....

Wow. Bet John Garand never saw that one. The gas system looks like the right direction rather than the run around they had in the 1920's developments of a semi-auto service rifle.

Vinegar wash may allow some image.
Wash really well after, though.
Check with infrared and UV light with the above wash....

It does not seem as if it would be too hard to make a bullpup stock for the Mini.
and the basic format could extend to 10-22, M1 carbine, M1 Garand, M1A, SKS, and AK rifle types.
