I agree, daylight savings sucks NOW, but the main purpose of daylight savings back in WWII was to save on fuel. It had some merit back in those days but now it's almost useless.

If you are going to get a 870 try to get it used and made between 1970 and 1980. The newer 870 have been getting a bad reputation because of a lack of quality control.

21" is perfect in my opinion, mine is vent-rib and screw in chokes. If I wanted to hunt with it, I just replace the furniture with the original wood.
