BCG hung up on forward assist

Brand new 300 blackout upper, including bcg and bolt.

After shooting about 10 rounds the bolt locked back in the open position and would only wiggle just a bit. Got the upper and lower separated...

Duracoat advice

I have a Stevens model 75 pump that I am working on refinishing. It has some pretty rusty areas and the bolt was stuck open (broken firing pin). I plan on using durafil and "durablue" from duracoat...

Seems odd to me that it runs with the tac sol barrel and ruger bolt but not with the Kidd bolt. I'm going to polish the inside of the receiver next and see if that helps.

tried the upper on a known functional lower. functioned fine. swapped out the buffer and spring to carbine springs and it runs like a dream.
