First gun was an 870 20ga. Youth when I was 10. First rifle was a Mauser 98 8mm in full mil. trim(now built into a sporty 22-250). First and only handgun was a Thompson/Auto-Ordinace 1911 45acp.

So far I'm very impressed with my Ruger 96 lever in 22mag. Even shooting hollow points it shoots alot better than I expected.

I have my Mauser in a Ross thumbhole target/varmenter stock. I love the look and feel of it and the price was awesome. less than $100. I paid more for the ramline synthetic I had it in before.
