Think this would be wide enough to cover it? Don't really need a bayonet lug but cheaper then buying a gas block.

I wish i would have seen that sight before. I didn't even notice that not all gas blocks would cover both pin spots on the barrel when removing a standard sight until they pointed out that one did....
