Hi Single Action Shooters,
I'm Mad River Frank {my SASS alias} (SASS Life #21717). Haven't done much SASS or CAS shooting--timing has been a problem due to extenuating health circumstances, but I do love shooting single action revolvers, and lever action rifles. I'm a two tour Viet vet--enlisted artillery advisor in 1967 until just after the Tet '68 Offensive (our team was over run by two reinforced Main Force VC battalions, but we successfully defended our compound until the ARVN 4/41st Ranger Infantry relieved us) . Then honchoed a AN/MPQ-4A Counter Mortar/Battery Radar unit reformed at CanTho AAF--until my first DEROS in July 1968. Returned to the same unit 78th FA Det (Q-4) in Jan '69 until my DEROS in Jan '70. Former LE, PI/Security Administrator, now currently retired.
