recently,purchased luepold scope.Had it mounted on remington model 4 30.06.Mounted on weaver mounts.Went to rnge it shooting low at 25 yards adjusted to hit target but still low,like 18 inches low.Installed on gun sled to make sure it wasnt me.moved to 100 yards still low around 12 inches and ran out of adjustment on scope.Went back to gun smith and he suggested shims.Can I buy 20 moa mounts and is that enough or too much.I primary use of rifle is deer hunting.I rarly see a target at more than 100 yds but I have never shimmed mounts before and if I can buy different moa mount would that be better.Help
