What is this thing that you have against bears?

There was a unit in the Utah National Guard that was prepared to ignore the order to confiscate weapons from civilians in Louisiana during the aftermath of hurricane Katrina if the order was given. Here's the story told by Sergeant Joshua May in this YouTube clip here:

So are they coming because they know you have a gun or is it just spot checks on every house? So how much time do they have
To search every house for a weapon? I live in Florida where I don't leave them in a spot for all to see. If we have a hurricane and lose power... Best believe I'm protecting the family from looters

I would recommend locking up what you do not immediately need in a safe and bugging out with what you do need.
Or if you have time, put them all in carry cases and then bug out.
have a "Bug Out" bag already prepped and standing by.
Your insurance should be enough to cover your TV and stuff.
