logic only prevails when someone has common sense and can apply reason to a debate or situation. common sense has gone the way of the Dodo bird.

"Emotional"..."don't use facts"..."tell a story." Everything in this guide is how to AVOID fact and make sure you tug at the audience's emotions. Even the facts in the manual have been skewed to support their argument and are NOT raw facts. They will sacrifice liberty and freedom for a fairy tale? This is sickening. Everyone had better read it.

OPAWW, thank you for posting the enemy's propaganda for proper evaluation.

"Our first task is to draw a vivid portrait and make an emotional connection. We should rely on emotionally powerful language, feelings and images to bring home the terrible impact of gun violence. Compelling facts should be used to back up that emotional narrative, not as a substitute for it.
WARNING: Don’t break the power and undermine the value of emotionally powerful images and feelings by appearing squeamish or apologetic in presenting them."

Ya ya, don't let those pesky facts get in the way...

Bunch of morons...

How do we capture the emotion of hard facts? They have captured the emotion of outright lies. You would think making the facts emotional would be easier and catapult our arguments to an easy victory.

One thing we can all do.

Whenever anyone laments the rape or killing or robbery of an innocent person,

Just say: "If only she/he had been carrying a gun"...... shake your head and walk off.

For most people, you're right, there is no common sense or ability to think critically, but there is a small percentage that have not made up their minds yet that still have the ability to think critically and still have common sense, these are the the people we are chasing, but you're right, with most people there is no use, it's like talking to cow.

i am not talking about being able to think critically. i am talking about people able to use common sense and reason in a discussion.

Are you talking about the other side using reason and common sense, because if you're saying that than you're 100% correct, they never use reason or common sense- hence, the reason they do not support gun rights.
