Good for Wilson.

The large publicly traded companies like Ruger and S&W would be open to stockholder law suits if they did this, so we need the smaller, self owned companies to do so.

Now we need Kimber to move out of NYC, and Remington to move out of New York State. Bennelli to move out of Maryland would be good also.
^^this!!!! You are spot on 100%!!! The slew of law suits will keep the public companies from black balling government agencies etc, but moving their companies, jobs and tax dollars to states that support their business and cause will hit them where it really counts, their bottom line.
I'd like to add that if pro gun states would offer incentives to companies that want to be in a more favorable environment maybe companies would be more inclined to close up shop in states like New York and take their $$$$$ elsewhere..

Some states are. Wyoming is one of them.

Beretta is being wooed by some states that are trying to lure the company out of Maryland . As for the people who lose jobs in Maryland, I guess Gov. O'Malley would say, ( with apologies to Marie Antoinette ), " Let them receive background checks ".
Note : Yes, I know it is based on a false quote of Marie Antoinette .

Montana is one of the states who has introduced legislation to attract both firearms and ammunition manufacturing business there.

So the States are making it harder for law abiding citizens to defend themselves. And in return a few 'mom n pop' stores are wanting to make it harder for the people who can defend them by limiting their supplies. Like a hose company only selling garden hoses to the fire department.

You might want to add 'in direct violation of the Bill of Right'!
