...and they wouldn't need to... so apply some simple math for the sake of argument and assume that a small minority choose to fight, say 10%. Do the same on the LEO side understanding that small jurisdictions ignore this while large ones "attempt" to make a show of it and assume that equates to 50% or even 60%...

Should the Fed's get their wish, they are setting up a situation pitting 10 Million dedicated Patriots against the 500k or 600k memebers of law enforcement who choose their paycheck over their oath.

It's not at all hard to imaging that this gets very ugly very quickly as deaths on both sides draw in more and more fence sitters looking for retaliation.

The point I am trying to make here and that I hope LEO's will grasp is that there is ABSOLUTELY no benefit in pursuing this conflict. There is no public benefit to be gained by engaging gun owners who refuse to comply BUT there is a HUGE possibility of instigating a conflict they CAN NOT win.

We understand it's a crappy choice for honorable peace officers with families of there own to support but we also recognize that IF LEO's understood the risk, they would be engaging their Union Representation to publically speak out against such policies rather than quietly standing behind their appointed Chiefs.

LEO positions on policy carries a good amount of weight with law makers and the public. We all understand why Rank and File officers can't speak out publicly in defiance of their leadership but I do not understand why they do not uses the considerable power of their Unions to do this for them.

Like I said the issue is the people making the laws not the ones enforcing them. I have upmost respect for law enforcement and don't believe their lives should be talked about so casually. My opinion.

I agree, which is why I am attempting to get the political clout of Rank and File LEO Unions into the debate.

Any other union sees an unacceptable risk of injury to it's members and it speaks up LOUDLY. It' time LEO Unions recognized the threat to their officers and did the same.

Any LEO who belongs to a union is lost and gone to our cause. Unions are nothing more than legalized organized crime! And if what is going on in our nation right now is not living proof of this I don't know what is!!!

If a LEO enforces a law that is unconstitutional, is he not just as guilty as the men that passed the law. I have all the respect in the world for police as long as they do their job, but ANYONE that goes against the constitution in any way, I consider to be a traitor and they should be brought up on charges of treason.

3. They want us to become defensless sheep that have to obey their every edict.

Bingo...

Unfortunately the wheels of justice turn far slower that the levers of oppression... which is why many would choose to defend what's there's in the moment.

Lets see the 'report' of the accident???
There is another 'unconstitutional' law on the books which makes it 'illegal' to lie to a 'federal agent'! It is this law which they will enforce every time!
So If I am ever ask anything by the feds I will simply say nothing, and tell them why. No matter what you say they will find a way to charge you!!!!

As Brigadier General Anthony McAuliffe once replied to moronic request from the Germans, "Nuts."

It's just a shame we no longer have someone with the balls of General Patton to come riding in to save us from stupidity.

We don't need a General Patton... Anything worth doing, is worth doing right and only WE THE PEOPLE are capable of ensuring the proper outcome.
