Why aren't politicians being tried for treason?
All these politicians that are trying to pass gun control legislation are basically breaking their Oath of Office to Uphold and Defend the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights. Why, oh why are they not being taken into court over this and tried for treason? If we broke a law we'd end up in court, shouldn't they end up in court as well?

They are above the law.
They are exempt from laws that rule us.
What we would be punished for,

can get the free pass.

Plus the Supreme Court said limitations can be placed on the 2A.

^^THIS^^ treason crap is getting tired fellas.
Being an idiot is not treason.
Being elected by idiots is not treason.
Asking why gun contol politicians are not being charged with treason...is not treason.
...it's just as stupid...but it's not treason...

Two sides to every coin. What you call treason their constituents call doing their job. While the Supreme Court often gets the final say on what is Constitutional the laws go through many iterations to get there.
The people passing the laws don't see it as taking away your rights. Treason is a willful act of betraying the country and its citizens. While I'm sure some people feel betrayed I will not assume that these politicians are acting with malice in their hearts. Everyone likes to believe their intentions are good and while their actions may say otherwise I'm sure all of the anti-gun politicians believe they are acting for the good of the country.
Stupidity and ignorance are not treason.
I'm not saying there aren't people out there who would like to take away our rights and basically rule over us. However, I cannot prove that is the case, so I will not outright accuse anyone of treason lightly.
That doesn't mean I am not pissed as hell by their actions.

...we invented this thing long ago...it's called a DICTIONARY...and if used correctly can greatly improve your understanding of such things...
