Ability, opportunity, jeopardy. You are allowed to shoot if you meet those criteria and more importantly if you can prove that to a jury. I say it every time I strap on my pistol. Ability, opportunity, jeopardy.

California could easily afford to keep them locked up....Just contract with Mexico to house the real BG...murders, rapists, and the like....it would be a whole lot cheaper there and then decriminalize some of the minor stuff but set up a system that the BG has to pay restitution to the defendant...to stay out of jail...problem solved....

Or California could just have a contract with me and send me around to each prison with a 9mm pistol and a pickup truck full of ammunition. problem solved and we will all get tax refunds.

In this age of ruthless and deadly home invasions by Latin Kings,

Bloods, Crips, and mindless addicts, I tell myself the home intruders,

before they decided to break into my home, could have opted for other,

more stable, options, in a prolonged life scenario.

-They could have gone to the library to study a new job skill.

-They could have assisted a relative moving to Indiana.

-They could have volunteered to help the less fortunate.

-They could have planted trees, to relieve our beleaguered rain forests,

amongst many other viable choices.

At this point, they decided to do the wrong thing, and are breaking

into my home. If they gain the initiative, my loved ones die, and my

life changes for the worse forever. May God have mercy on their

souls. May the court have mercy on my response. May history

smile on my actions...

I totally agree wolf. Life is series of choices. Nobody made the bad guy pick a up gun and choose to break into a home or business. The libs will argue that they are a product of their environment and that is a total crock. They KNOW that they are doing wrong, which is why they try not to get caught. I did not choose for them to break into my home, but I will choose to eliminate the threat if they pose harm to myself or family. I will not live my life in fear or in a totally defenseless condition, I will choose to be armed at my home and at my place of business (I wish I could CC, but I live in the last bastion of Nazism in the US). Gearhead, get some training, get your CC if you can and learn what will and will not land you in the clink if you have use that 1911.
