All this panic gloom and doom. Hell we have not heard the facts yet. We just found out he shot his mother 5 times with .22 Marlin. He did not shoot her with a 5.56 as first reported. He had a Henry .45 Colt and a .303 Brit.. A 12 Ga. shotgun was found in his car. Some reports say the AR-15 was also in the car? He had a 9MM and a .40 Caliber semiauto pistols in the school. Some reports say he killed himself with the 5.56 im the school.

I haven't heard anyone out front defending the idea of liberty and what it means. Why should law-abiding citizens have to give up their rights? I for one simply enjoy collecting and shooting fun pleasure and let me tell you, shooting an AR or AK with 30 round mags is some serious fun, when done safely.

The idea that the world is a safe place is an illusion. We're not that far removed from barbarism. Guns even the playing field in terms of an individual defending themselves against a physically stronger person with bad intentions, no?

i have to agree with Nitestalker on this. right now there is so many conflicting stories and not all the facts have come out. i think when all the facts surface, then we can make a more informed opinion on this subject.
