A little something called the Second Amendment.

December 15, 1791

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution #cite_note-8
That sure cane in handy in 1813-1814!

Imagine if 50years from now our children were in a situation like Syria. How would that be if they had to go up against full auto fire with a two shot shotgun. The second amendment is not about hunting. It is not about self defense either. It is about have to defend ourselves from a dictatorship! That is not the job of a side by side 12 gauge!
Syria is a shame. People think "Oh the government can't take over. This is the 21st century. There is no way possible..."

Yeah that's what they thought, and they all died. The Bible states it best:
Quote:
"A prudent man forseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished." Proverbs 22:3

Very true man. Take your guns out of the safe, place them on the floor and order them to fire. They wont.

Yoda?! Is that you? Starwars is a prime example of gun control and how it screws us all.

Liberty has a cost. People never talk about the dangers of the 1st amendment. The bill of rights was crafted specifically to protect against an overreaching government.

Unfortunately freedom is neither easy nor desired by many Americans.

Guns are one of the most sacred freedoms because it empowers the weak and oppressed. The ruling party, the nanny state types, hate an empowered citizenry.

I like that point. When the fore fathers were creating the constitution, they were scared that they were not specific enough on what to include. I am ashamed of California and New York and I hope everyone flees those states. I fear New England and other liberal areas will soon follow with these new gun laws. Of course they will not work, Big Brother knows that. They simply want us disarmed so they can push their agenda. New world order. A global country where the UN is in charge and there are no guns.
