The democrats have two years to destroy the republicans. After that with the house AND senate controlled by the democrats, all the things he wants to do will be easy.

Don't count on it.

He can't even get his AWB passed in the democRAT controlled senate.

Harry Reid won't put it on the senate calendar because he doesn't want to have to vote on it.

While Obama did nothing except tell Congress to do something, he still might. After a month or two when Congress has done nothing Obama might say that Congress forced him to do it himself for the safety of the country. I trust none of them.

I don't know how many times this will need to be repeated.

locutus, actually he can do almost anything. A President's Executive Orders or Proclamations carry the weight of law. Congress can pass a law to override with a 2/3's vote. Congress can impeach him and remove him from office with a 2/3's vote. The Supreme court can deem anything he does Unconstitutional. Until the court or Congress acts what he says is law. Or the military could stage a coup, I suppose also.

In such a situation, I'm thinking more along the lines of taking them to Frankfort personally... Along with a couple hundred thousand others.

The only hard part would be trusting someone to hold your guns for you but I'd rather risk that then have NY State take them from me.
Im in MA and would gladly take Antibes in ny's guns to keep them safe for a while
