Default Weed wars

I saw this show last night for the first time, I think last night was the first run of the season . I was kinda in shock the whole time watching it , I have been kinda on the fence about making it legal .
Of course I have smoked it in the past but was never a pot head and its been a few years since I have hit it . It makes sense to me , It has to be better and healthier than the pain meds the docs give us . In the end I think the legality of boils down to the big pharmaceutical companies padding the political pockets .

Another thing that baffled me was the fact it was legal in cali but the feds still ban it , how the hell is that working ? The company last night grossed 21million a year so you know they are being watched but the fact of all of the tax revenue coming in from it kinda makes them turn the other way a bit .

I know there are legit uses for it but just like all of the other narcotic pain meds that are prescribed half the folks on there last night were using to treat '' I feel bad '' or I had a bad day disease .
I guess what pisses me off is the fact that these nut jobs think that since they have a bad day that is a legitimate illness or excuse to smoke pot .
Im just torn on the matter how bout you guys ?

The number one abused "type" of drug is now "PRESCRIPTION DRUGS" i.e. Legal stuff!

Yeah, follow the money. Its all about a war on the American people and control!

It's not working in the once great State of California.

Pot Heads Love It - for every legitimate medical marijuana card holder there are probably a hundred pot heads that paid $50 to a dirt bag doctor for a card to help them with "chronic pain".

Law Enforcement Loves It - Law enforcement have been "fighting" (but no winning) the "war on drugs" for years, and use the "war" to divert huge sums of tax dollars to their cause. They don't want to win because they will have t reduce their ranks.

Drug Cartels Love It - DNA studies on the pot in stores have linked inventory to pot being smuggled in from various cartels. I hate to say it, but at least the cartels know what they are doing and readily admit that the money and the power drive their operations. The Pot Heads hide behind their "pain" and Law Enforcement hides behind the "war".

So far, the feds, like local law enforcement and local government, have failed to control this problem. It seems the cartels, unfortunately, are the only once being successful here.

The problem being those pesky subjects that seem to think they have the freedom to do what they will with their body!

You sum it up best by saying "CONTROL". As this is what it is all about.

Does anyone seem to remember this little thing in American history known as PROHIBITION!?!? Do you remember the results of THAT little fiasco of the Govt trying to CONTROL people??

honestly I don't see how they get away with selling it nationally illegal not by state right? Since when does the state have more power then the national government? I'm actually completely against the use of weed, I don't like stoners, I don't like pill heads, hell I knocked out a few of my cousins teeth just for bringing that st*t into my house.

As far as I stand with it there are tons of different medications out there on the market and in development that can take the place of weed for medical use, it's illegal right now has been for year as far as I'm concerned everyone that uses it is breaking the law.

You are all about your freedom to carry a gun/hunt/fish etc. and get damn pissy when folks want to step on your toes and try to take away those things that make you happy.

And rightfully so!

But then you jump up with the next breath and impinge on anothers right to "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness".

There are some people out there that, believe it or not, ENJOY getting stoned and playing video games. That is the entire reason for their existence. Wether or not you understand the mind set or condone such actions, you (or the Govt) have NO right to impinge upon their freedom to choose what makes them happy in their life!

Uncle bear does have the right to what goes on in his home.

But, uncle bear, there are some instances where scrips are not nearly as effective as weed, glaucoma for example. Yeah there are scrips that help, and surgeries that can help, but weed is best for it.

I've heard it's also the best thing for migraines, but haven't found any lit on that one.

I don't like stoners either really. Something about people that have a desire to be impaired all the time. Still, I've used it in the past too, but nowadays about the only thing I do is smoke, and not weed either.
