"responsible" "sane" "safe" are all codewords of leftists for completely stripping you of your right to keep and bear arms. there is a reason new york called it the "SAFE" act...

You might want to read this,

http://www.pagunblog.com/2013/07/03/the-latest-not-really-pro-gun-group/

I like this part,

Here are the screenshots that show the Connecticut converted to Texan Chairman of American Rifle & Pistol Association who is an Obama supporter who is pushing Bloomberg/MAIG’s gun control campaigns while helping to promote Moms Demand Action, a group trying to pressure companies to ban lawful concealed carry so gun owners can’t carry in public anymore and convince gun retailers to stop selling the most popular guns in the country.

I'm sorry, I think your responses are nothing short of laughable. Yes I support sane gun ownership. I've been shooter and a gun owner over 50 years. I see nothing wrong with what this group is saying in it's opening statements. I'm not so narrow in my outlook that just the hint of a reasonable argument scares me into name calling. Maybe, just maybe "responsible", "sane" and "safe" are just that. To suggest that these words, when talking about gun ownership, are subversive is a very sad commentary.

I see lots of red flags with this group so far.

I think I will stay away. Thanks for posting. I saw nothing in their website that calls to me to join.

C3s listing of the qualifications of their board also showed no one with any firearms background.

The thing is....Even if you do think things like expanded background checks, or a waiting period might be good, They would just be considered stepping stones to the gun grabbers. If you give in on one of those things,, do you think Brady, Bloomturd, etc are going to pack up, and go home...no, they are going to say...whats next....until they reach their goal...total confiscation......

+1
Code. "After all, what reasonable person could be against _(insert code word here)__ measures to ensure the greater good." Don't forget to "think of the children." See standard appeal:

I'm kind of surprised they didn't think to work "Common Sense" into the narrative as well.
