Default War veteran charged with felony terrorism charges for jogging with airsoft gun.

This maybe should have been posted in the dumbazz of the day thread. Not too smart of this guy but does it warrant the charges ?

Assault rifle? I told you they didn't understand their own gun grabbing terminology!

I can certainly understand doing PT in full gear and used to do it myself while active but that was many years ago and long before the LA shooting and Aurora. Oh...and I've never owned an Airsoft

Don't think the charges will stand but he should receive the Ass Clown of the decade award and perhaps a few days in the County Jail where "Bubba" could "drill" some sence into him.

Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, was trying to get in shape for Air Assault school- would be do early morning PT wearing TA-50 (field gear) boots and vest.

In this case, sounds like any of my drunk neighbors- investigate, find it is NOT a firearm, take the airsoft away until he is sober, take him home, offer to smack snot out of him if he comes back around school w/ airsoft- problem solved.

Felony charge? Yeah, let me know how that works out for you. Nolle prose coming up on THAT.
What we have here is... failure- to communicate.

WTF? Running with a toy gun and you get thrown in jail for being a terrorist. Really, we've become that paranoid? We can't profile a muslim in an airport but we can profile/accuse veterans with toys, of terrorism? We can't ask an illegal alien for ID, but we can throw a veteran in jail for running with a toy. Al Queda is rolling on the floor laughing at us. They have won, we've become so paranoid so chicken **** that we live in fear of everything now.

Clearly the charge doesn't fit the crime (crime?). And hopefully this guy will get what he deserves.

I remember Running Drunk through German streets with a 50lb ruck, a real M16, boots, Fatigues and Tossing my cookies at the back of the pack, I wasnt alone. Another case of stupid now being called a felony!

Alemar was actually drunk, registering a .213 blood-alcohol reading. The legal limit for motorists in West Virginia is .08 percent
I can ALMOST buy that he was "training". Until I read that his blood alcohol was somewhere in the "I am so drunk I can't feel my own face" zone.

That is like 10 drinks in a 180lb male body. That is a pretty serious drinking binge.

Lucky he isn't dead, and that has nothing to do with the whole "running with a weapon past my kid's school" thing.
