I was at Walmart this morning, the same amount of ammo as the last time I was; except, the amount of ammo is less and have not seen the shelves filled. Even for 12 gauge ammo.

My thought is they're going to stop guns and ammo sales.

I do not agree with the Walmart representative; the fact is 12 gauge is full in other stores (LGS); however, Walmart is near empty.

WND contacted Walmart and they responded

http://www.wnd.com/2013/01/walmart-responds-to-suspended-ammo-story/

“That information is inaccurate,” said Ashley Hardie, a spokeswoman located at Walmart’s corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Ark.

The rumors of Wal-Mart forbidding further ammunition sales are untrue.

However, many warehouses are completely out so there may be some truth to the rumor that managers have been instructed not to place further orders. That does not mean Wal-Mart has suspended all ammunition sales indefinitely.

That said, my previous comments stand. Wal-Mart is a cheap and easily accessible source of ammunition for me. So once the current panic subsides and if they ever get any stock back in I'll continue to visit.

how about we wait until a decision is publicly announced before we try to crucify someone for what they "might" do!!

I agree. The guy I spoke to last week said they're still getting ammunition in just not as much as They used to like everybody else

Could be that Walmart does't want to pay the high prices to stock shelves.

There're only two stores in my city that have not increased prices on guns.

The first one is Academy Sports the second is Walmart. . So I don't really have a problem with either one of those right now.

The local gun shops are the ones taking advantage right now.
