Default Wal-Mart Adopts Tougher Gun Sale Rules

The Wal-Mart corporation has told all of its stores to not sell a firearm unless they get a "Proceed" response - no more selling if the wait listed people don't get a response, as per federal law. Anyone wonder what surprises they have coming for ammunition?

Walmart rolled over and dropped handguns from most of their stores. In many areas they have dropped air guns. Now they are yielding to the anti-gun lobbyist. Notice they are not standing with pro-gun Orgs. I would never buy from this "Circus Train". Besides I don't wear stretch pants and shop at 3 AM.

Come on you'd probably look good in stretch pants.

Our local wal marts only sell ammo, knives, pellet guns, and airsoft guns. Where they're at, you'd think they'd sell guns. I think the used to way back when, when I was a kid, but they don't anymore.

If i was running a walmart i prolly wouldnt sell guns either. Its not a big seller and not really inline with their overall business model. Ammo is one thing but selling a gun the profit margin isnt big and the turn over isnt enough in most places of inventory to warrant having a ffl in the store.

If i was running a gunshop i prolly wouldnt turn over a gun to someone unless i got a clear procceed from atf either. Im no fan of the batfe but im no fan of some libtard thats been snorting bathsalts and a felony list a mile long getting a gun because nics is overworked either

i agree with JonMs post.

Was surprised when i lived for many months in Reno: The Reno Wal-Mart did not sell guns. It was because the liberal media jumped on Wal-Mart over suicide cases. Tourists came town and lost their butts at the casinos. A few bought guns at Wal-Mart and offed themselves in the parking lot.

Academy dosent sell a gun without a clear proceed either. One would be supprised at how many times the FBI will call to make sure we did not sell a gun to a person who's BGC turned into a open status. Too much BS tp deal with, given how often it happens.

Well said. I know two LGS owners that won't sell to "certain people" even if they pass NICS. It's called responsible business practice.

Does Walmart only sell guns made in China? If so, it's no big loss to us.
