This was a "sanitized" version. The professor kept it rstionasl.

if you read the original version of his articles, he wants to set up a parlimentary government like Europe and the U.K., and do away with the SCOTUS, and the Senate.

The guy is a smart, well spoken conniving socialist.

It was interesting seeing a liberal trying to defend the constitution when she was completely out gunned (as usual). Also the viewpoint that Obama is all for personal privacy (but only when it is his personal privacy). The proliferation of domestic surveillance under Obama is mind blowing. I also found it interesting that he claimed he was for the 1st and 2nd amendments and thought the NRA is correct. I found that a little hard to believe.

"A bunch of dead people telling us what to do". You bet, it was written just for people like you. That is a fine example of liberal progressive thinking. Difficult to change?? You bet, it was designed that way.

The Left is introducing a Bill to drop Presidential Term Limits. They are really planing a one party Socialist government. The American people broke and disarmed. The ruling party will be a Socialist Dictatorship.

None of this krap has a snowball's chance in hell of passing.

Back in the 1930s, Half of the American people were sympathetic to communism. The Socialist Workers party was huge. (counting supporters as well as members)

Tens of thousands of Americans paraded in the streets of the big North Eastern cities carrying sickle and hammer flags.

Yet the socialist progressive FDR wasn't able to get 99 percent of his agenda to see the light of day.

Locutus the American Nazi Socialist Party was very big before WWII. FDR was forced to accept more socialism then he wanted. FDR was afraid if he didn't accept communist Light the Reds would control America.
The Roots of socailism and the far left Democratic movement was hatched by FDR. Had FDR not died in office he would have ended the American Republic as invisioned by our Founding Fathers.

You're right about the NAZIs influence. Much of it was to counter the massive and growing communist influence
.
But progressivism actually goes back a ways from FDR.

Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson were the fathers of the American
"Progressive" movement.

Barnes and Noble has a book called "Theodore and Woodrow." It details the founding of the progressive movement in the USA. Both men were great admirers of the British "Fabian Society," a utopian socislist movement.

Wilson may well have caused the ultimate demise of our country when he created the Federal Reserve and the monetary system went into the hands of the private bankers.
