Utah house passes constitutional carry bill
The bill HB76 passed with a vote of 7-2. This will make it legal for ANY legal firearm owner to conceal carry without a permit! This is similar to AZ law. Also several other pro 2A bills are up for vote Friday including HB114 which states all gun regulation would be conducted by the state only and prohibits federal intrusion. Proud of my state today:)

Utah House Bill HB 76 has been approved for consideration by the House Committee. It has not gone to the House floor for a vote. HB 76 has a long way to go before it is a law.
If the HB 76 is signed into law Utah will join Alaska, Arizona, and Vermont and Wyoming as a Free state.:)

Seems we have changed from the USA to the DSA, Divided States of America.

Glad a few states are getting it right. A model for other states to follow.

Sorry nitestalker I should have clarified. It has jumped it's first hurdle, and the momentum needs to continue! People need to keep flooding the Capitol and writing the reps. I'm just glad our state isn't trying to appease the Obamatrons by putting up anti-2A bills that have no hope of passing. Instead we are looking to expand freedom and limit federal intrusion. If only our neighbors respected our autonomy and freedom...hhhhmmmhuummm COLORADO!!!

My thoughts exactly. I said a few months ago that if we're going to save any remnant of the "United" States that we really should think about split the Country so that the Socialists like Obama could screw up their half and those of us who love Freedom and believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights could have our half to preserve the Founding Fathers original intent for this Country.
Looks like we're pretty much getting that right now weather we like it or not. I'm just glad to see a few States taking a Pro-Gun stand in light of all the Anti-Gun crap that's going on in other States.

JoshH Colorado has fallen to the Liberal cause. Colorado has become the California of the Rocky Mtns. There are pockets of these Liberals all over the west. It started small in Colorado and now it is in control of the state.

When you see craziness in some states and your scratching and wondering wtf????!!!!!!???? Most often bills that have no chance are done to create headlines and generate a campaign plank for that bill author to campaign on with their base "see im doing what you want but those evil *opponents* blocked it"

For example here in wisconsin the house senate and governor office are controlled by conservatives not just republicans.

Yet there is a bill introduced by a madison libtard that will ban all ammunition that either contains lead, has a hollow point, or a softpoint or can penetrate a vest. Stands zero chance of even making it to committee, but thats not the point of the bill. Its done so that libtard can use it in the next election.

Yes, it's great to see another state stand up for it's citizens rights. :)
