The Senate did the following:

On March 23rd, Senator James Inhofe (R-Okla.) introduced an amendment to prevent the U.S. from entering into the treaty. It passed by a vote of 53 to 46.

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) introduced another amendment to ensure “that the United States will not negotiate or support treaties that violate Americans’ Second Amendment rights under the Constitution of the United States.” This amendment passed in the Senate by a voice vote.

One by a Republican, the other by a Democrat. Bipartisan opinion.

IMO, any treaties or policies that are in direct violation of the Constitution are treasonous acts. Obama and his entire administration are traitors theat need to be brought up on criminal charges.

i have said this before, i swear allegiance to the USA and our American flag, i believe and support the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights. i am an American citizen not a subject bound by anything the UN stands for.

personally, i think that the UN is occupying space that is in America and should be evicted and sent packing out of this country. they have no respect for our beliefs but only want American dollars to further their agenda.

Maybe if we pushed the UN for the funds they owe us, they will skip town.

I don't really care if osamaobama signs the treaty, it is hollow without 2/3 majority vote in congress. Even if congress ratified it I would not follow it nor would I support it in any way shape or form. The un would have two choices STFU and go away or shoot and kill and they better be quicker and better then I am

So I am guessing you are a big gun exporter? That is the only way you would be affected.
