I think Brian Lilley hit the high spots:

http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/video/global-gun-control/2273023212001

I've already sent (another) letter to our federal government. Snail mail gets read, in my experience. Will wait a bit and send emails this time.

This "treatY' is really bad.

Here's another possibility, friend.

A Canadian judge just refused to give jail time to a blind sex pervert. Why? There's a friggin' U.N. Agreement somewhere on disabled people and his defence attorney found it. In Calgary no less!

http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/sunnews/canada/archives/2013/04/20130409-194159.html

So there's another reason - liberal judges will use a U.N. Treaty to fiddle with a nation's laws. In your case, I believe that will provide the means by which your Constitution will be "updated" as some of your politicians say it should be, it being over 200 years old and all. In our case, Canada's Supreme Court Judges call that the "living tree" approach to interpreting.... er, writing.....our constitution.

I call it tyranny of the elite....among other things.

LIST OF TRAITORS

Over the last weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:

To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators that voted to give your rights to the U.N.

Baldwin (D-WI)

Baucus (D-MT)

Bennet (D-CO)

Blumenthal (D-CT)

Listen to the list of things Obama reels off after the words: "Even without Congress...."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JqXwCDJg_A&feature=youtu.be

That's where he's headed. This Treaty will help him, ratified or not. It's public opinion he's after and he will shape it any way he can.

For what it's worth, the pouty "frown" on Biden's face is fake. It looks like he is trying to stifle a laugh.

Uncle Joe himself is fake. Nothing about him is real.

... is that POTUS met with the UN the day after he got elected to discuss this very topic. I think I know how he will handle it. Question is, how will Congress handle it? (I am not a legal expert, but I think they have to vote on it?)

IIRC, 2/3 vote needed in the Senate.

We can only hope that the Senate stops it. Otherwise, the favorite target may become blue helmets...
