Wyatt Earp was arrested for murder after the shooting. He was later released. The Earps and friends were "Town Tammers" a bad ass profession not for choir boys.
Wyatt went on to live a very long life. He was in on the early California real estate boom. He was John Waynes "Cowboy" acting coach. Wyatt was buried in his wifes familys Jewish grave yard in Califonia.

Wyatt was the only Earp that never got shot himself. Morgan was assassinated, Virgil was maimed and even Doc Holiday got shot, but not Wyatt. Wyatt also shot first at the OK corral.
