Default Time To Boycott Comcast

Quote:
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Gun stores in areas that Comcast cable serves are looking for new ways to advertise after the cable provider said it would not accept firearm and ammunition commercials.

Comcast (CMCSA), the nation's largest cable-TV company, made the decision last month after it finalized its purchase of media company NBCUniversal, which Adweek magazine said has had a long-standing in place banning those items and fireworks.

"Consistent with long-standing NBC policies, Comcast Spotlight has decided it will not accept new advertising for firearms or weapons moving forward," said spokesman Chris Ellis of Comcast's advertising sales division, Comcast Spotlight. Comcast has operations in 39 states and the District of Columbia.

I've been boycotting them for years based on their sh!tty service alone. Lol
I'd pay double for Verizon or go without before I'd go back to those sh!tbags.

Comcast should be called "concast." They are the biggest con artist in the cable business.

Gave up on cable in late 2008. My house is wireless, cell phone, satellite dish and wifi hot spot.

Comcast has a long history of shady practices and anti-customer policies. Unless you are in a large market such as Central Florida, there is no competition and they prey on their subscribers. The cable industry should have never been deregulated. They told us it would force competition and lower prices. BS, look at how much most of us pay for cable.

I will say though, if you are in a large market Comcast's customer service is great and the prices are lower. Most Americans don't live in large markets so the deregulation did terrible things to most of us.
