In my opinion, it would appear, that the conservative, ?Religious Right,? Republican, sector of the nation?s leadership.? Is no more in favor of the 2nd Amendment, or an ?Individual Right to a Self-defense,? than the, left leaning, socialistic, Democrats. ?Perhaps it is time, to start looking at, thinking about, and voting for the Libertarian Party?s candidates.?

I would also add some of the words of Jesus on this subject, as it seems they have been mis-represented by our religious leaders, for all too long now:
?Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I am come not to send peace, but a sword.? - Jesus, in Matthew 10:34, the Holy Trinity Version, Catholic Bible (1951), and the King James Version.

?But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a wallet; and let him who hath no sword, let him sell his tunic and buy one.? - Jesus, in Luke 22:36, the Holy Trinity Version, Catholic Bible (1951), and the King James Version. [rf].
