In a time when you read about kids getting suspended for toy guns, there is hope. My son's seventh grade class had a fund raiser for the local fire dept. they dressed as people that made a difference in history, and recited a speech when you donated. My son was Ulysses Grant I also liked Jessie James, Annie Oakley poncho villa and two different Betsy tosses. My wife and had a great time. I don't think DHS was there to arrest anyone!!!!!!
I've been in Grant's actual house in Galena, IL! And not the visitor center (built for him, that he never lived in a few blocks away). Very cool! I measured the roof
the guy living there gave us a tour, and a small history lesson on the house.
