Is it possible to extrude your own brass or steel casings? What kind of equipment would you need for that?

All I've got to say is-Stock up on supplies,and get ready for a Revolution.
The only way to stop this Medusa,is by cutting the head off.All of them!

The problem with this is that the heads of this Medusa is like the heads of the Hydra. Cut one off and three more grew to replace them. We just have to figure out which one is the primary head, cut it off and cauterize it to prevent new ones replacing it.

People often forget about the "bear" in the 2A. Taxing ammo to the point of being unaffordable clearly infringes on your ability to bear the arms you keep. So yes, imho ammo taxation is criminal. But, if i'm not mistaken, federally it has already been settled that using taxation to control a product is illegal. But thats only federally. Stateswise, the people get what they vote for. You don't like it, get active. Change peoples minds.

probably some sort of specialized equipment would be required, that is more than likely very expensive and large!
