I'd like to keep this simple. If you've written letters to your legislators opposing any new gun control laws, make a short post in this thread saying so. If we as responsible gun owners and members of a gun forum don't become pro-active, we deserve what ever befalls us. God help us if we get very few posts in this thread.

I have written to both the state and federal level, TWICE.

And I will write again,
I will get my son's to write as well, since each of them also value their rights.

I have called and left messages with Governor Jerry Brown. I have sent Wally Herger an email.

My reps. in Washington are all rated A by the NRA, so I don't worry much about them going left. I do not however hesitate to call or email them about any and all concerns involving the 2nd amendment.

another way i am urging people to become more pro-active is to join the NRA or at least some gun rights organization to help defend those rights. our strength will come from sheer numbers.

i enrolled my wife and renewed my NRA membership.
