I read this last night and Rush talked about it. This failed in the Oregon 2009 House session. Rush asked one question, where did the stimlus money go?

When they put a tax on toilet paper, they are desperate!! Anyone notice the tax is to pay for sewer upgrades mandated by the Federal Government!

Well, personally i think it is a crappy way to collect some extra tax.

If I mail him my used toilet paper, can I be exempt from the tax?

Maybe Suttle is a friend of Sheryl Crow. She noted that we only need to use one piece of toilet paper per visit to the crapper.......:eek:

Maybe someone will invent the "3 shells" if they start taxing TP.

Can the people with on site septic systems get an exemption? Maybe they Obama could mandate a flush counter and gin up a number, say six sheets a flush on average, and add it to our income tax. this opens up all kinds of s*+^^y revenue raising possibilities! We could beat the crap out of the deficit maybe!

Well if something this absurd actually gets legs and becomes law I will swap out my toilets for bidets and stop buying tp ;)
