Peter Keller the Washington survivalist and murderer who spent 8 years digging and stockpiling found out that with all of his "prepping" he couldn't survive himself.
It didn't take the cops long to find his hideout. I guess he figured he didn't want to go out in the blaze of glory that many of his mind-set dream of.

He apparently did, the press reports after blowing the bunker they found him in a pool of blood with a hand gun close by. He had apparently been dead for a while according to the Sheriff.

No amount of prepping will keep your relationships healthy. That takes peace and wisdom. I am a low-key prepper, but I always keep my eyes firmly focused on the fact that survival means nothing if my family isn't loving and hopeful.
