Hey Tack, are you familiar with the firearm subsection of reddit.com? this would go over well there and they have the numbers.

Signed both. I strongly encourage everybody to go through the petitions on the WH website every week and sign all of them that you agree with.
That having been said, probably more than half of the petitions put up on the WH website are not issues that the President has any influence over, other than the pressure that the office can apply. Honestly though there is no way that Obama will ever advocate for that which we do. But we can let our voices be heard on these subjects so signing the petitions does serve a useful purpose if only a small one.

Quite True but the Adolescent In Chief is not the only one reading them...
A few hundred THOUSAND signatures on an "End Gun Fee Zones" petition would get noticed by the media.
