Again, I never said to ban their right to do it. I never said they couldn't. In fact I started out by saying they have the right.

I said that I think a ban against another constitutional right is stupid. That would include any attempt to ban the 1st amendment rights.

Does that mean that you do not support their right to petition their government?

Hint: this is a yes or no question?

IMO, they are free to petition for anything they want, just as we are free to point out how they are wrong.

Any freedom loving American would allow their petition, but fight against it by creating another petition and making our voice heard.

(Though, the anti gunners petition is worthless. The Bill of Rights was set up so that no one will ever be able to take your rights away. It doesn't matter if those who want your rights taken away are in the minority, or the majority. Those rights are always protected)

OK, so after watching the video, that's funny. Especially how one of the only 3 people who refused to sign it was a hot chick who OWNS GUNS!!

Ever is a long time. The constitution can be amended. The fact that the 2A has been in effect for over 200-years, does not mean that a well meaning but vocal group of idiots can't amend the constitution to override any of the existing clauses, including the 2A.
