Default States Attorney General wants to release gun owners names in Illinois

This is not brand new but not old. The courts have it held up for now. If you live in Illinois please do as I have done and contact Lisa Madigan's office and explain this it not a good idea.

Here is the NRA link
NRA-ILA :: Illinois: Releasing gun owners' names bad idea

And so what would this help??? Allow thugs a way to know where to break into, steal them, then use them illegally... sounds well thought out to me.

Could be so that the thugs know where all the unarmed citizens of Illinois are and breaking into there homes would be easier since they won't be encountering an armed home owner.

In all seriousness, this is a terrible idea. What about a person's right to privacy. Some people may not want everyone knowing about their gun ownership. And just because you have a FOID card, does not mean that you own a gun.

I can see some very big law suites if this passes. Can you imagine, the first time some felon uses this for a home invasion.

As of right now, there is still hope for us in Illinois with FOID cards.

Put up a big sign in your front yard. Armed and dangerous. My neighbor does not believe in owning firearms and is a much easier target. Arrow pointing to neighbor.

Thumbs up

Fight fire with fire!
If they go with this, then release the names, home addreses and work schedules of all co-signing politicians!
If they insist on making US targets for criminals, we must do the same for them!!

Oooh Oooh!! I am! I am!!

Did I get it right?

The socialist/communists MUST work at taking away our guns, once they do that they can go ahead and do whatever the hell they want and all we will be able to do is holler and throw rocks!

But yeah, the crap gets more and more ridiculous all the time, and the saddest part is there are plenty of morons to follow right along with them. I feel it is a testament to the liberal public school "conditioning" (not teaching)as to why our younger citizens have no clue as to what our rights really mean!
