Agreed! I hope the voters all remember this when he's on the ticket again (or trying to get on the ticket).

My supply was already pretty much expended. Any remaining respect has been duly euthanized.

Default Some Florida "Stand Your Ground" Research

The Tampa Bay Times has done some research into Florida's "stand your ground" shooting cases.

68 percent of "stand your ground" shooters went free:

1. 35 percent of cases were not charged by prosecutors or were dismissed by prosecutors.

2. 23 percent were granted immunity by the judge.

3. 10 percent were found not guilty by a jury.

32 percent of "stand your ground" shooters were found guilty by a jury or entered into plea bargains.

1. 16 percent plea bargained.

2. 16 percent were found guilty by juries.

3. 40 cases are pending.

You can play with this one and come up with figures based on the race of the victim and shooter. The term "victim" covers perps. There is another one for non-fatal shooting cases:

I didn't want to read through 19 pages to see if this had been addressed but to whom missed the answer or if it hasn't been answered. 2 days ago Gov. Rick Scott announced Stand your ground STAYS PERIOD.

McCain has been a turncoat on the gun issue for decades.

Back in the late 90's this "republic-rat" came to Oregon and helped pushed through the "Close the Gun Show Loophole" Law.

In addition to BGC's on private sales at gun shows... It also mandated that the Oregon State Police keep a record of all gun purchases for 5 years.

Note: Maverick "in politics" means "turn coat".

John McCain is right up there with Benedict Arnold in the annals of American Traitors.

I'd rather seen his state replace his with a Democrat that listen to this pasty coward for a second longer.

Tack

Yep. McCain is a Democrat who ran under the Republican ticket because he would not have been elected on the Democrat ticket.
Worse than a RINO.
