liberal statements? so what if they were? they were meant to open up discussion from a different point of view. and if you go back and read all the posts i wrote on this thread and look at the underlying thoughts, maybe it would be apparent to you if you didn't have such a narrow-minded viewpoint. and yes, words can be like bullets and not recalled, but i meant the words i wrote and make no apologies for them.
I think you would feel better and add more to the conservation by not thinking every post is directed at you.

In 1959 I ordered a Hi-Standard Sport King .22 pistol from Sears, Roebuck. Tore the order form out of the catalog, filled it out, signed the little place on the bottom that swore I wasn’t a felon and was over 21 years old…A week later Parcel Post delivered my gun. $24.95 plus postage. I still have it.

Many magazines had advertisements for “War Surplus” rifles for $10.95 plus shipping. Best I remember they leaned towards Enfields.

Jim many of us old guys learned a lot from "Shot Gun News". Who would have guessed a 7.65 Mauser was a .30 Caliber?

There will always be people that get guns that is not able to get it the right way for they will steel it or some one will sell it to them! It will never stop! We can live with it for there is things that is for more dangerous than a few people having guns that should not have! We have all the guns laws that we need!!!

But, can you tell me, without using Google, what 7.62 X 63 comes out to on this side of the Atlantic? Or 9,07 X 33 mm R for that matter
