Okay, let's say that Illinois does pass CCW and charges a fee...

To say that will lessen the debt is like saying "give a drunk more wine if you want to rehab him."

In all honesty probably not , but they are looking for ways to generate revenue and this is a easy one

Hit the nail on the head. I know where I am they are closing institutions and raising taxes, well not only raising taxes talking about creating new taxes so they can raise those in a couple of years. I gotta get out of this state...anyone want to buy a house????

I'd pay for a CCW permit if it were an option here.

It is a very stupid state. But, Crooked County keeps electing chicago crooks, so you can't expect much else. ILL-A-NOID is what I call it. Lots of us are trying for some kind of RTC law, but even with that it still sucks. For now I am trapped, but when I can, good-bye ILL-A-NOID!

Left the socialist state of Illinois 24 years ago and headed to Indiana. The Hoosiers are so much nicer to live with.Had inherited a house in a very nice part of Illinois and could have moved bak.sold it.Would never live in Illinois again.too much corruption ,taxes, etc. They treat honest gun owners like the bad guys
