What is happening in Connecticut will quickly move to New jersey if this does progress. The fuse has been lit.

smart guns for dumb owners!

now for some hypothetical observations from me. this pistol is using electronics in it to operate. have to buy this special watch for it to work. seems like the watch is sending some sort of signal to the gun, to allow it to operate. here comes the conspiracy part! if all this being true, what is to stop some government agency from sending or blocking the signals, to make the gun imoperable? hmmmmmm.....pretty danged useless if you ask me.

IMO, guns and electronics do not make favorable companions when combined.

Default A small favor regarding Smart Guns

Well, part of me is supposed to be the Investigative Journalist/Broadcaster and report this issue Neutrally. But the Patriot in me has to cry foul here. Axxe: I love it when you go strait for it! You and I were thinking almost the Exact same thing, but I thought it would be an "Enemy of the State " who would get control of a Blocking type Transceiver that would render the Gun Inoperable so GG who had to be forced to carry the gun( no matter if LEO or just a GG citizen) would be unable to respond, and get Capped for his troubles.

I'm waiting through some info at links that KDog posted as part of the story, and from that stuff, I glean that they were going to have deals to produce modified Guns from at least 2 Major companies, one Being HK, a comp. With low profit margins lately thanks to some financial equity issues, and was close to filing for Bankruptcy last year, but avoided that thanks to some new minority owner investments.

Dr.Football,

I shot you a PM yesterday night (german night time ).

But, again, are some youtube videos about some of armatix`s and of course the IP1......

Video 1
An investigative TV programm brought in a firearms specialist to test the firearm blockingsystem called trust lock and quick lock. Trust Lock ist meant for inheritted fireamrs, that according to german law have to be non functional. A bolt in inserted into the barel and chamber to block the firearm. They can only be removed by using a special device to unlock the bolt either with a PIN code, fingerprint or a combination of both. Quick Lock is meant for anybody to secure the firearm. Unlocking is done by the same way, as with Trust Lock.
If the bolt is removed without that device, the barel would be destroyed. That is what Armatix praises. Here the video.....

Video 2
This Videoshows the german actor Ralph Möller, as he looks at the IP1 at the german Hunting, outdoor and firearm show IWA in Nuernberg, Germany.
Listen carefully, when he hands the firearmover to Berd Dietel, former CEU from Armatix. See, how far away the firearm really has to be from the watch, for it not to fire anymore.....
