Simple Explanation of Magazine Capacity Limits
This needs a bump. Especially now.
Yeah. New York is ruled by lilly livered wimpo billionaires who are happy to disarm everybody except their own personal bodyguards. I often wonder what kind of ties they have to the thugs they are trying to protect.
That one extra round makes all the difference. Add a pistol grip, and you got a massacre waiting to happen.
You know that some people look at the 7 rounds and still think "Why does anyone need that many bullets"?
Ok. Now I understand it. It's clear now. New Yorkers are better shots than the rest of us! :o
I think a 7 round is perfectly OK. Just carry 4 or five guns that each have 7 round magazines.
Or maybe the law means to carry 7 magazines that are round, like drums... |
Quote:
Elmer Kieth tells of an old Montana sheriff that carried a Colt SAA with 5 rounds. A salesman was trying to sell the sheriff a new fangled DA that he could safely carry 6 rounds in. Sez the sheriff: Hell, son, after I shoot 5 times, I got plenty of time to reload.:cool: |
Even the UK has no limit on mag capacity or restrictions over who can buy magazines. Average joe can buy any magazine made today and stick it their legally or illegally owned firearm.
If a felon obtains a firearm illegally, what makes you think they won't get their hands on standard capacity magazines? Even if they do purchase magazines that are restricted, what makes you think reloading takes ages?
These are non-sense laws created by Liberals who do not believe in moral responsibility. These people think too much with their mind, geez gize.. some politics are *******s! So this leaves a question to be asked- are these laws really used in the name of public safety to disarm American citizens? |
