The Sheriff in my county is of the same mindset, as are most of the local LEOs. The ones I know all agree that when seconds count, a gun has a better response time than a squad car.
Is it better to do the right thing for the wrong reason, or to do the wrong thing for the right reason? If you do the wrong thing for the right reason, is it still the wrong thing?
